These two items above are the first requirements to be sought in the work permit application. Here, the intention and purpose of 5 Turkish employees; it is necessary to have 5 Turkish employees in that company for every foreign employee who wants to be employed. For example, if you are going to employ 2 foreign personnel, then you must have employed 10 Turkish personnel. This is the first condition to employ foreign personnel. I just started my company; I have not yet recruited staff. Can’t I employ foreign personnel?

In companies that have just entered service, 5 Turkish employees are not required in the first 6-month plan. If you apply for a work permit at the moment you open your company, then a work permit can be issued by taking the commitment that you will employ 5 Turkish personnel in the first 6 months plan. This work permit will be given for your first 6 months, and when you apply for an extension of the work permit in the second 6-month plan, if you do not meet the expected requirement, then your application for extension will be rejected with a negative result. This is an important detail for your application. Although the newly established companies are given time for incentives and employment, if you do not meet the conditions in the next 6 months, your extension applications will be canceled.

Can I work as a caregiver in Turkey?

It is the most preferred business category by foreigners in Turkey. If a foreign national will work in the category of work permit as a caretaker and attendant in Turkey, then there are certain conditions that must be met; the person to be taken care of, must be either;

• Child under 15 years old; or
• Older than 65

You can apply for a work permit through one of the above options and services. Apart from these conditions, applications are rarely accepted in special cases. Although the person is not in the specified age range, if there is a compulsory need for care, this must be presented with a committee report. In this report, if the person is disabled, the rate of disability must be 60%. After these are documented, work permit applications can be made for home services.

In applications for work permit as a caregiver, if the employer’s first foreign worker is employed and the employee’s first work experience, then the state provides incentives in the insurance premium and provides a worker insurance discount in monthly payments.

Is it possible to work in a company?

The candidate is expected to be a high school graduate, preferably an associate or undergraduate degree. However, engineering is one of the business lines preferred for application. What are the Turkish work permit application conditions for teachers?

It is necessary to examine the adequacy of the trainings received by people who want to work as a foreign teacher in Turkey to be able to teach here. For the person who wants to work as a teacher, he / she will apply to the Ministry of National Education in the district where he / she has a school connection; if it is found suitable, pre-approval will be given by the governorship. Types of Turkey Work Permit

Temporary work permit: It is the type of permit given to work in a specified job. If it is to be continued through the same employer, if the approval is obtained in the first application, it is mostly 1 year; 2 or 3 years of leave can be granted for extension applications.

Indefinite work permit: It is the category to which people who have resided in Turkey continuously for 8 years and obtained a long-term residence permit or have at least 6 years of continuous work permit apply.

Independent work permit: It is a type of independent work permit granted to people working professionally in a field within the scope of the conditions specified in the law.

Turquoise Card: It can be given to the category of scientist, to foreigners who come as athletes, to foreign nationals who invest. It provides the right to an indefinite work permit, the right to a residence permit and also the right to pass for Turkish citizenship. The spouse of the person also grants the right of permanent residence for their dependent children.

How to apply for a work permit?

• Turkey work permit application is carried out completely through the online process. The application is made by the employer.
• Records can be created on the system in 3 different ways;
• Employer registration for home services (Registration is created with the employer’s Turkish ID number)
• Registration of foreigners working on their behalf (with foreigner identification number starting with 99)

Work Permit Application Types

First domestic application: It is made for foreign nationals who have a residence permit valid for at least 6 months in Turkey. These people have a Turkish Republic foreign identification number, starting with 99.

First application abroad: If the foreigner is in his / her own country and does not have a valid residence permit, they can apply for a work permit by going to the embassy or consulate in the country they are in. In the application, he will be assigned a 16-digit reference number.

International protection application: Came to Turkey to take refuge. It is an application made for people under international protection who want to obtain a work permit in Turkey. The foreign national who applies in this way has an international protection residence permit.

Temporary protection application: It is an application made for people with Syrian nationality who are under temporary protection in Turkey. These foreigners have a temporary protection residence permit.

Extension application: It is an application made to extend the ongoing work permit. An extension application can be made as long as 60 days remain for the permit to expire.

What are the mandatory salaries defined for foreigners for work permit application?

• 6.5 times the minimum wage for senior management staff, pilots, engineers and architects,
• At least 3 times the minimum wage for foreigners who will work in jobs requiring special expertise, psychologists, teachers, physiotherapists, musicians and foreign nationals who will work as performers,
• At least 1.5 times the minimum wage for people who will work in the home services, sales-marketing department, and those who will work in company positions other than the above
• Foreign nationals who will work in tourism or organization companies in acrobat or similar positions. For those who will work as a masseur, masseuse or SPA therapist, it should be at least twice the minimum wage.

My application for work permit was refused. What should I do?
